We are into trading business (lighting, fans, Appliances ) and we do turnkey lighting projects all over India. We have 28 branches, 70 projects sites all over India and Head office at Mumbai.
We have centralized HR department and computerized payroll we maintain all the records, registers in soft copy.
Pls. share the checklist of what are the statutory compliances to be follow i.e monthly , quarterly , half yearly and yearly returns . various licenses, registers , compliances for subcontractors employees.

You have to obtain licenses and registration under different Acts. Being in Turn key jobs you are a contractor as well a Principal Employer in terms of CLRA 1970.
ESI & PF contributions/compliances are to be ensured from each and every employee either employed thro contractor. The logic that you don't have control on his working and wages will have no force. Read Ss 2 (f) of EPF Act 1952. and act accordingly.
The liability under the ESI & EPF works out sometimes to the tune of 600% of escaped money.

hi,
If en employee receive 20,000 as Basic and DA for six months in the financial year and 22,000 for the remaining six months. Shall we pay bonus only for Six months. Or Ex-gratia is mandatory to calculate for the remaining six months.
