3. KM - Industry Relevance (include comparative analysis, industry
practices, etc.. Establish relevance to your
industry)
4. KM - Benefits to Industry/Company (how does it impact people,
growth, knowledge share/upgrades/conceptual understanding,
organizational growth, profitability/bottomline/stakeholders, etc)
5. KM - Adaption and Implementation (how do we adapt/implement/meet
timeframes, what each leader/employee must do)
6. KM - Case study/studies (brief & relevant to your industry/Co)
7. Conclusion

No harm comparing KM in IT to manufacturing to give its importance a greater impact and industry wide acceptance. But emphasise on your industry relevance at the end to drive home the point..

You could add slides giving analysis, empirical/historical data (if any), showing traits/benefits, knowledge share, etc. that makes it more interesting to understand and appreciate. If possible, add pictographic representations to give it the visual effect.
