I have a doubt in pf. if suppose any company having the pf number due to some problems few years they are not run the organisation, but recently they are started. So my doubt is what can we show to pf department to gap years. is there any format or covering letter?

Was it a company complete closure or just the stoppage of production??
in case of complete closure, you need to register for the PF Code, in case of temporary stoppage of work, the company will be considered in existence hence the PF code will be existing unless it was applied for closure,....... i,e., in case during the stoppage if the company has closed the PF account, you will have to open a fresh account, if the previous account is not closed it will be continued with the same code............

If any Company / Establishment closed temporally due any reason whatsoever ,then administrative charges Rs 7/- monthly shall be paid of that period to the EPFO Authority then your EPF account will be continued.
