21 days leave wages are required to be paid to the employees in a year. is there any time limit by which leave wages of previous year be paid to the employees as per wages /factory act or rules. pl. also clarify whether leave wages are to be paid as per calendar year or financial year
Leave wages not given by principal employer for contract labor
Leave wages if not given by principal employer in tender also & at the end of the tender its asked to be paid by the contractor.leave wages if not given by principal employer in tender also & at the end of the tender its asked to be paid by the contractor. in tender their is no provision of leave or leave wages but its written in tender to follow all the labour laws. also the contractor is working on the rates provided by them excluding profit. if no were mentioned in the tender for leave wages or leave how can the principal employer bound to give leave wages & in what basis. as what i know that the law has to be followed both by principal employer & contractor. please help that the contractor should pay or not.
Earned / medical leave wages
Our is a mining company and we usually pay the leave wages to employees i.e. whenever employees are taken leave they are marked absent and half yearly we pay the proportinate leave wages as per their present. kindly let the know the following and as per act / clause. for payment how daily wages are arrived. salary is fixed for employees on montly basis. this doubt has arised since in one of post in citehr in have read that for computation of gratuity no. of days is considerd as 26 where as for retrenchment it is considered as 30. thanking in anticipation of with regards prince k j
Clarifications regarding wages payment of labour on daily wages.
Several times i have seen some companies are paying the wages for 26 days leave without pay only and others are paying 31 days including sunday leave with pay. can any one tell me please what is the correct procedure for the wages payments. and how much epf contribution will be deducted. now in up minimum wages are apx. 284 /day unskilled thanks manoj
