I left my job after completing 6 years in a company. My pay sleep shows deductions towards provident fund, but PF Account number is not mentioned on it. Now company staff is reluctant to provide the account number. Is there any alternate process to get it.

Dear,
Pf account number always been allotting by the employer. You should have some valid proof of PF acc Number. For this things you have to ask only and only the employer. Otherwise you have to fight by legal action.

You can always demand for the accurate and updated details of the PF deduction from you employer, it is infact your legal right to get the information........ So serve them a letter asking for the details of deductions and the employee code and other affiliated details..........
If still fail to get any info, serve them a showcause notice for not giving details as required and asked for....... you will have to get it at this stage otherwise it invites legal action against them.........
Good luck......
