Hi Folks,
I am anand. I have worked on a company and i have resigned on Sep\' 2009. For some reasons i forgot to withdraw/tranfer my PF amount. Now am in the need of money so am planning to withdraw the PF amount instead of transfer. its been more than two years i didn\'t either withdraw or transfer my PF amount. If i want to withdraw my money now , is that possible to withdraw PF amount?. Can i go through my previous employer and withdraw the PF amount ?

You can withdraw the PF by sending forms 19 and 10C through your previous employer. In case you had worked for 10 years (more than 9 years and 6 months) you need not send the form 10 C because you can not withdraw the pension fund.
If your previous employer is not traceable or refuses to sign the forms you can even send it directly to EPF Office where your accounts were maintained by getting your signature attested by Bank Manager or such other persons authorised. Also attach along with the forms a cancelled cheque leaf for easing electronic transfer of funds by the EPFO.
