Dear Dipil, Sheshu Babu,
The photos I have received are out of some contact.
I shall try to locate the originator.
This is a hydraulic platform, if you show the pics to any one manufacturing Hydraulic systems, he should be able to design similar one.

Dear Sudhir Sir,
We are working coal based thermal power station and in our industry Hydrogen gas cylinders (Highly Explosive) and Anhydrous Ammonia cylinders (Highly Toxic) is being used in different processes and it is the common /major problem of loading/unloding cylinders in many industries. As per our knowlege, we tried to improve the cylinder lifting mechanism methods but not very effective. The shared picturer by you are really innvoative and hope this method will help us to convience our management to adopt safe practices of gas cylinder loading/unloading lifting mechanism. If possible kindly send us technical specification or more details of mechanism of lifting platform.
Waiting for your prompt response in this regard.

One alternative we have for loading of filled cylinders is to have a pit where truck is parked so that cylinder storage area and carriage of truck is at same level. Since this cemented level will not have any moving parts , no maintenance and no breakdown of hydraulic platform when needed most. For unloading at site , a wooden ramp with old discarded tyre at bottom of ramp is sufficient . Hope you can try it.

Dear all,
This was all about loading & unloading of cylinders. We also need to have precautions while we are taking cylinders at site especially for welding & cutting. We have modified our trolleys for carrying cylinders. They are now equipped with Fire Extinguishers & tool box.
