Trainee Extension

We have a few trainees who have been hired for a 1 year team. This one year term will get over in Oct 07.

a) Can i extend this by another year?
b) Can the trainee come and ask me a permanent employee status if I extend this beyond 1 year?
b) Is there any outer limit for this tenure to end?

The reason why we have them as trainees is because the process is not complex and XII std pass candidates can do the same / data entry. We hire guys who have failed our online test and above 18 years.

instead of calling them trainees, you may offer them a consoldated amount and they may be termed as part time workers (eg 5 days in a month for X amt)

they can be put on somebody else's payrolls or even a specially created subsidiary cos.
