Dear Saran,

Welcome to HR fraternity!

You have got the chance to start your career with IR. This is a good opportunity in itself as if you are able to control the horse right on its nose, your many chances of superceding in career becomes brighter.

As for the IR questionnaire,

-- Please prepare a standardised format of MCQs (4 options for each question - KBC style) and not more than 2-3 open ended questions.

-- Sit with your Manager to analyse the current situation of labour, mindset, analytics, turnover, absenteesm, unrest/lockouts, then only plan the set of questions to dig out the required information.

-- Getting the employees to fill some kind of form in black and white could also be an issue in itself, so you have to first show them a win-win situation kind of scenario, else the information lent out could be misleading.

-- Take prior permission of the employer and/or thr HR Head before enacting the survey, else it could lead to a massive confusion.

-- Dont let out the result to the employees in general. Be politically correct. Less is good.

All the Best!
