I am currently working with a bank in Dubai as HR Executive. I have 5 years of HR Experience from Pakistan. I am MBA in Human Resources and now interested to enhance my qualifications with a certification. I am stuck with 2 names i.e. Hays and PHR Certification. Please advice which one is beneficial and practical in Middle East in a long run. As per my info, PHR is mostly for the Europeans while Hays is much demanding in the Middle East.

Could you specify which training module of hays are you taking about
I have done Hays plan for compensation and benefit
after doing this structure what my observation was that it is a good plan to work on but parallel I had done Point Plan which was of more structured pattern compared to hays plan
both this plans are of no actual use to me in my present assignment because my institution does not follow this plans for compensation and benefit calculation
what i am trying to say is gain knowledge do not think whether it will be used in present work profile or not
not all organization will implement hay plans just because you have done it because this plans takes lot of time to implement into the system

I am not so aware about the middle east
but in European countries Hays method is used
as far as Job analysis training course is concern i would suggest try to do certification course name certified recruitment analyst or else even Thomas profiling is good learning

Furthermore, if you are interested in assessment and development centers, check out the level a and b certification from the British Psychological Society It teaches you how to evaluate a psychometric tool and has much broader application that just being certified in one vendor's tool.
