Dear Friends,

I have a problem regarding my Employees Pension Fund. Here are the brief details.

I had joined my companies Head office in Kolkata in January 1975.

Subsequently I got transferred to my Companies Bangalore Sales office in Feb 1985

& to the companies Plant ,Bangalore in October 1986.

I retired in September 2011 .

My Employees Provident fund balance got transferred from my Kolkatta Profident fund a/c Park street, to my Employees Provident fund a/c at Raja Ram Mohan Roy , Road(when I was in the Bangalore Sales office) & subsequently this fund got Transferred to my Provident fund office at K R Puram, Whitefield, Bangalore, when I was transferred to the Bangalore plant.

When I retired I got my Total Provident Fund in February 2012,that is the balance at Kolkata Provident Fund ,Balance at Park Street, Provident fund office & Balance at K R Puram, Whitefield

Subsequently I got my pension in April 2012.The amount was short, & when I visited the K R Puram ,Whitefield office, they said that they had taken for Pension Calculation considering my year of joining as 1986 as they had not received the Annexure K from the Employees Provident Fund office in Raja Ram Mohan Roy Road.My pension should have been Rs.2050/00 but I was given a pension of Rs 1752.00.

The K R Puram office, Whitefield said that I should get the Annexure K from the Employees provident Fund office at Raja Ram Mohan Roy Road.

When I visited the Employees Provident Fund office at Raja Ram Mohan Roy Road, the said that it was an old matter , & that it was a very time consuming affair.

I have been contributing to employees pension fund from 1975, I have my Provident Fund slips from 1975,issued from West Bengal Employees Provident Fund Office, Employees Provident Fund slips issued by Raja Ram Mohan Roy Road office & Employees Provident Fund slips issued by K R Puram office as proof for the deduction.

Could any member give his expertise & solution how I can get my full pension for having worked in the Companies Kolkata(Head office) & Bangalore sales office & Bangalore Plant, also I have had no break in service working in the same organization from January 1975 to September 2011

I would be very much obliged.

Meet Editor in chief of local news paper and get it highlighted.
Pf is afterall public fund and they have to release without delay inspite of old records.

Dear Friends,
Once again request friends to give ideas of how i can get my full pension. To be brief i have started my Provident fund contribution form 1975 at the Provident fund office in Park Street,Kolkata, but in my pension records in the KR Puram office, the service records say 1986.
There has been a communication mistake between the Provident Fund offices at Park Street ,Kolkata, Provident Fund office ,Raja Rammohan Roy Road, Bangalore & K.R Puram ,Bangalore.
How do i officially rectify.

You prefer a complaint with the RPFC, Kolkatta where the mistake occurred. Get the acknowledgement for the same and preserve it carefully. Give them some reasonable time to act and rectify the mistake. If no action is taken even after, say, one month, you may file an application under the Right to Information Act (RTI) asking them to let you know what action was taken on your complaint. Your case will be settled with speed!!
