As per my offer letter, i have joined a financial broking company as Branch Manager-Business development. But after 10days of my joining, they change my profile name as Manager-Business Development. Reason of the changes is not clear. Would it be similar one?
What are the consequence? What should be mine next step? Please Guide me Urgently

Hello Tarun,
Firstly I would like to know if your job profile & designation was discussed in detail with you at the time of interview?Secondly in your appointment letter does any clause state the revelent change in the desigantion, location of work etc ?Also after the change in designation, have the job responsibities assigned to you changed?
Discuss in detail regarding the changes with your HR head & ask for the relevant explanations. You can even approach your reporting head for the same.
Such matters require patience & tactfully handling the situation without disputes.

Dear Neelam Mam,
Job profile & designation was discussed in detail. Earlier it was a team handling profile but know they made it individual. And as per appointment letter is concern, i don't get it yet.But in offer letter there is no such clause. Thank you so much for your prompt response.
Regards,
Tarun

Hello Tarun,
Generally the Appointment Letter includes the terms
& conditions of the service, I would suggest you to ask about your appointment letter to your HR Department. That will help you understand about your role/ job profile. And than you can discuss your query with the HR department.
I wish you good luck for the issue to be resolved ASAP.

first try to understand the promoter/ top mgmt perspective: they may be having a change of business plan/ resources etc..
next question would be your role ?
depending on your abilities and circumstances decide on your plan of action
