Thank you for the reply sir. But the attachment / link is not solving my concern. They are updating on the minimum wages for the year 2011.
What I want is " Minimum wages for the year 2012-13, where in there is a significant increase in Basic + VDA as per a gazette notification released this week"

This is altogether a diff. thread. U should have opened a new thread. Anyhow - What do U mean by "disciplinary action under Companies Act ?. You mean penalties for omissions & commissions under Companies Act ? Pl. ask yr. query little clearly. If what I mean is correct, better buy a Handbook/Ready Reckoner of IT which is priced @ Rs.300-400 which is handy and always useful for U. There are also paper back books of Compendium of Companies Act & other relevant acts/rules which are handy (student version)
What position U R in, what R yr.responsibilities. Companies Act provisions are more concerned with the Co.Secretary & Finance Manager, let me know so that I'll offer my help appropriately.

After my retirement, I am undertaking some part time of my own private company underthe shop and establishment act of Tamil Nadu Government. Now I would like to know if any revision in the Basic Salary and the D.A. for the year 2012-13.(employed with 23 staffs). I will be more thankful if someone gives me a detailed reply. Also let me know wether professional tax has to be paid to Chennai corporation though I am at Meenambakkam area comes under Kancheepuram District under Alandur Labour office. Is it necessary to pay for Labour welfare board.
