I would like to take a loan against PF. I am already 56-1/2 years old and would like to withdraw 90% of the contribution of my PF (employee+employer contribution). I hear that I can withdraw this without giving any reason for the loan? Is it right & if so what is the form no. I have to submit and what is the reason for the loan to be specified by me ?

You may withdraw upto 90% of the amount standing in your PF account within one year from the date of superannuation without specifying any reason. But the minimum age to avail this withdrawal is 54 years and is to be applied in Form -31.
