Pune Symbiosis or Manipal University

Hi there Remember Symboisis will give u PGDBm not MBA.............. But still people prefer Symb more its completely upto u............. :roll:

I am also doing the course from Pune Symbioshis on HR. If you go for distance course on HR then symbioshis is better than other. And in managment field Institute is more important rather than degree or diploma. ok

you must go for Symbiosis - pune. their cource material is good. more importantly, their assessment of your assaignment is very proffesional. along with the marks given, they clearly give you details of how you have answered. this gives you a good feedback on your studies and knowledge gained.

it is a reputed institution and will add value to your career. i am giving this feedback from my experience. i did distance learning from symbiosis - MDBA in personnel management 4 years back.

Hi, You should go for manipal university for MBA in (HR) as they provide you with a degree and its a UGC recognised whereas SCDL is not.

I will advice you Smbiosis pune is better then manipal. I am also doing my PGDBA from there. the couse material is really good and helpful.

Can you tell me why you feel that it doesn't makes any difference between degree n diploma? If you go for a PG Diploma, then is it recognised outside India, because many comapnies only recognise degree of the university registered with UGC.

It is only upto you how much you learn from these programmes.

As you are having nine years rich experience so i does not think university or college make any difference now.

Better to opt for Manipal MBA this time of year as now symbiosis admission are closed so by doing so you can save one precious year.

This is Muraleekrishnan, Sr Manager - HR & Corporate Affairs with a MNC in India.

Symbiosis is an autonomous institute. You can opt for SMU as their Degrees are recognized by HRD Ministry and UGC. If you want to pursue for PHD from any Govt recognized universities also, it is valid but symbiosis' not. See, all distant learning materials are somewhat the same and in HR area, more than theoritical knowledge, experience counts. Under SMU, you will get good contact classes and their chosen syllabus are updated as per industry needs and notes are really good. Their objective type exams are strict and tough like any other competitive exams and you need to really learn to pass. It has value and you may opt for SMU.
