Dear sirs,

hai this is kumar, i am working as a H R executive in one of manufacturing unit and i am not sure about who are drawing more than 6500 ( BAsic& Da) for them pf is mandatory r not. pls some one help me in this concern

Hi,

It's not mandatory, id company willing to pay eployer contribution, other wise employee has to pay total contribution of (employeee& Employer)

above the prescribed limit coverage is not mandatory it is on the sweet will of employer and employee concerned to extend the coverage or not.

Its not mandatory.

But if some one falls under PF scheme or is already a PF memeber, he or she needs to fill Form - 11 as a declaration to avoid PF deduction.
