Can Any One Can Advice :
If A Lady Is Availing Her ML As Per Law, Can She Get Other Leaves In Her Credit (pl/cl/sl) As Per Leave Rules Of Any Organisation For Her Period Of ML (can The Other Leaves Be Credited To Her Account Which She Is Entilteld During Her Maternity Leaves)

Dear Aswin,

I read in some law generals that some child & women welfare cell has raised a issue to increase materinity leave for 3 months to 6 months. The reason behind raising this issue is, employed mother are enable to give the neutrion milk to their babies completes which is effecting the growith of future generation. This topic is still in discussion. And parallely maternity leave for male employee at the time of his wife delivery they are proposing for 15days.

what is the eligible number of working days for an lady employee to avail maternity leave.

Please tell me under the maternity act 1961, a women can take how many days leave. As per my knowledge it's about 12 weeks but i read in news paper there is new amendment which says women can take 6 months leave. Now i don't know it was passed by the govt of india or not? So i am confuse!!!!!

Please tell me the correct answer

Support service of business or commerce: -Section 65(104c) “support services of business or commerce” means services provided in relation to business or commerce and includes evaluation of prospective customers, telemarketing, processing of purchase orders and fulfilment services, information and tracking of delivery schedules, managing distribution and logistics, customer relationship management services, accounting and processing of transactions, operational assistance for marketing, formulation of customer service and pricing policies, infrastructural support services and other transaction processing.
Explanation. —For the purposes of this clause, the expression “infrastructural support services” includes providing office along with office utilities, lounge, and reception with competent personnel to handle messages, secretarial services, Internet and telecom facilities, pantry and security.

I am working in a medium sized Factory where 400 people are employed. I am not covered under ESI.
How many days leave can I have as Maternity Leave.

its not maternity bonus. it is called medical bonus.
