2012 version of fox and the grapes

For those of you who know me, you probably know that I’m a training addict, finding new training stories for me is like opening a well wrapped present on my happy birthday. So sharing you one more story which I used for one of my sessions

Without further ado, Let`s dive in the story

Enjoy!

And be sure to leave me a comment
:)

The fox was jumping higher and higher to get grapes but of no avail. She was getting fed up in trying to reach the grapes, in last she assured herself by saying that the “Grapes are sour”. She started moving back in the direction from which she came.

“Hay what u were doing?” a voice brook her attention.

” Just trying to get some grapes “she replied in a tired but confident tone “but they are sour”.

“Do you want them?” Again a question was thrown at her.

“Yup” Came the quick reply

“But you were just jumping?” told the stranger in plane manner “and it not possible for the animal like you to jump and grab grapes”

Amused by the statement the fox asked” what should I do then?”.

“Go and find somebody who already knows how to get grapes”. Advised the old stranger

“Where will I find him?” this time she was little bit irritated.

“Who wants grapes?” the question was straight.

“I”

“Then go and search yourself” stranger replied in a calm way. With this he disappeared in the bushes.

She started thinking ………………..who can help her?

She went to donkey and asked him to help her.

He said that he has no idea how to get grapes.

Then she went to wolves for help.

oh………………. She had to run for her life and she understood they don`t need to know this, they were carnivorous

One by one she went to all the animals of the jungle but she found no one who could help her.

When she was coming back suddenly she saw a monkey resting on the tree high above the ground.

Oh………….. He is the right person!! A thought flashes like hundred bulb in her mind.

She asked him “Do you know how to get grapes?”

Smiling on her question, He said “Yes I know. It’s just a child`s play for me.”

“Would you help me in getting grapes from a Grape-vine?”

“Yes I can” monkey told her confidently” but what will I get”

“We both can enjoy the natures blessing and if you know something which other don`t . Don`t you think you should help us.”

Ok answered the monkey, they both went to grape vine. Monkey climbed easily and plucked some grapes.

When she ate few grapes her eyes brimmed up with tears.

Oh……………… they are so sweet” she yelled with her full strength.

“Grapes are sweet”

“Grapes are sweet” She started dancing in joy.

Congratulations! You’ve just made it to the end of this very long story and I want to thank you for taking the time to read my story. I’m honoured that you would take the time to throw some light on the morals.

This story was used by me to illustrate a very deep meaning that it’s not the grapes which are sour but our lack of knowledge and wrong approach in getting them.

Wait for the next instalment…..It’s a series of stories
