Dear sir,
Thank you for your valuable advice. form 10 D is used for claiming pension after attaining 58 year of age. I was not aware of Form51F for EDLI and will look for details of it. Thank you so much indeed for your words.
Have good times.

Sub: EDLI Calculation in case of Death
Sir,
In case of death of an employee, the nominee/legal heir has to apply for P.F.,Pension, Insurance
Fund in Form No.20/10D/5IF. Management has to attest/sign and forward these forms to P.F. Office.
The P.F Office authorities will settle the death claims on top priority basis.
Regarding EDLI settlement, the P.F.office will settle based on P.F.service, the maximum amount will be Rs.60000/-.
