some of our employee had posted in june transfer from 20% HRA to 12 % HRA places. He relived of this duties on 01.07.2011 and the employee joined his duty on 01.12.2011. the leave salary HRA claimed is doubted some of our seniors said that he is eligible to claim 20%. But our officer at the joined place gives only 12% HRA. I had to clarify the above that any one please suggest me that the above employee is eligible for 20% or 12%.( From 01.07.2011 to 31-08-2011 HPL FOR 90 Days commutted for 180 days. and from 01-09-2011 to 30-11-2011 E.L. had been deducted).
please help me there are any leave rules, provisions that the employee is eligible for.

HOW TO CALCULATE THE HRA FOR THE PERIOD OF 01-04-2011 TO 31-03-2012,
plse advice me to how much exemtion in Income tax filing
My Basic Salary is 24,000/-
Hra received Rs. 9600/-
Conveyance Rs. 800/-
Medical Allowance Rs. 1,250/-
PT Rs. 200/-
TDS Deduct Rs.2,700/-
how much total exemption in this year
