have clean vision why u want to go for HR .if u love the job of HR u will definitely earn as much as u can and also there is a huge demand of HR profession in the market .....HR does not mean only to hire people ..first u better understand a to z of HR and then if u like it go for it

Like Varun says decide what you want to do based on your interest and then search PayScale India - Human Resources (HR) Manager Salary, Average Salaries to get an idea of what peopleearn in various fields.
Money is not everything in life, though it is important. What good is earning a lot of money, if you have to work long hours and do not have the time to enjoy what you earn. My nephews and nieces work from 8:30am till 10pm in the software industry and hardly anytime for social activities and are dead tired when they go to bed.
Have a nice day.

Hi,
Human resource Mangement is not an easy thing to do.Being an MBA graduate whatever trade u are does not mean a lot in the corporate industry. If u have the skill set then u have a safe set.HR is not that a strong competitor to other trades. It is very difficult to get an opening in HR as a fresher and if u get the growth is potentially slow. People always try to stay away from a ship that may sink but only daring people loves to make a tough sail. Go for it if u have the passion and give ur valuable contribution to HR so that ur question will never be asked in the future.
