Hi,
I am in trouble ..please help
I am an IT Engineer .I left a Nasscom registered BPO about a year back where i worked as a customer care Executive for 5 months (just for part time basis) ,during this period of time i was also associated and working in a very small software firm ( though my software company do not have any problem with working with a BPO because they are running short of project (i informed my boss about this) and , i was only working on previous project minor updates , very small company (8-10 employee))
but then what happen at this International BPO ,they got me registered with NASSCOM with all my details , i was not really aware at that point of time that it will create problem for me in future .
Then after 5 month I left the BPO (because i was not intended to work for BPO industry forever) and left without informing my supervisor (absconded)and joined a somewhat better new IT company.
Now while working with this IT firm .I got a very good offer f

How much a company charge or i need to pay (part or percentage of salary ) to the company ,if i don’t want to serve a notice period with the company

Well the very first thing is that you have taken very unprofessional step to left the job without informing your BOSS/TL/Supervisor even have not serve the notice period. Definitely this can be a problem for you in future while the background/reference check by your future employers.

Second, you have to follow the norms laid down on your Appointment/Employment letter. Go thru it and read the terms under “Notice Period” clause where you will get the answer of your questions/query.

It is not bad to look for growth or better opportunity but definitely not good to breach this agreement of employment.

I would suggest you to go the employer and serve the notice with a good and valid reason without any fear and complete the formality of RESIGNATION.

Yes i truly regret that part but it was very urgent for me at that time to join the new company (some personal issues also involved ) .Now I will agree to buy the notice period .

I understand this Sheet and many people do that too but instead of absconding one can speak to seniors/Boss bcz many time people get relieved with immediate effect after making request to their BOSS/seniors with valid and specific reasons. Many people have experienced the same here. I also have discussed the same issue with many time and found that they have been relieved after a deduction of “Short Notice Period” in their dues without any problem. Also we recently have discussed the same issue and the one who was intended to leave his job and wanted to come back to India from Singapore for further studies bcz he was selected by one of our reputed University, was searching the answers with the same questions. And after advised by the members, he spoke to his senior and granted to leave the job.

I basically wanted to say, one atleast try to speak to his/her senior/Boss before taking any decision like people and you have did..
