Shall ESIC enforce Mimum Wages Act? ESIC enforce us to pay the contribution as per minimum wages. Is this a violation of U/S 2 (22) Wages of ESIC act? Kindly let me know what will be the implication of this Adhoc C-18 notice? Can I challenge this notice at tribunal?

@Babuinside, ESIC calculation made on gross salary if the minimum wage is 9000 then whatever he/she get in hand after whole month as GROSS will be calculated on that.
Employee contribution will be 1.75% of Gross earning
Employer contribution will be 4.75% of Gross earning
Please note the Gross earning date for maximum stand 20000/- per month anything beyond that is not accepted for ESIC. Then company might opt out for a Medical insurance for the Staff/Worker.
