The task list would vary depending on the sector, size of the organization and scope of the manager in question. Please share a little more about the role you wish to understand. Here's how it works in the IT sector. A day in the life of a generalist

I’ve worked with Human Resource Managers as a Staffing Consultant and their tasks usually consist of recruiting, interviewing candidates, and handling employees' benefits and compensation packages. This is a very interpersonal role as HR Managers are responsible for boosting employee morale and job satisfaction as well as providing trainings to provide employees with the skill set necessary for the job.

I wud liek to write in brief the duties of a hr mgr.
The duties begin right from recrutiment to exit.
They include right from inducting a candidate into to the company to the reasons why a certain empoylee want to quit the company. The deveoplment of the candiate in the company is all in the hr dept.
The reasons of exit interview are very important if the HR dept want to bring a change in the company not if that employee is suspended.
