Yes Amarnath. you can have different weekly offs for all employees because the law provides that each employee should get one day off as weekly off. However, that suggests that you need to run your organisation for all 7 days for which you would need specific permission under your shops act.

Dear Amarnath,
An employees should have one day as W.Off in a week , that is either Sunday or any other day and the same will be depending up on the organisation requirement. Since lot of Organisatios are running 24 hrs in 365 days. As per Law if an employee works continuesly 6 days he should get 1 day as Off.
Hope your doubt may clarify.
Thanks & Regards

Dear Mr. Amarnath/ Ms (i suppose) Chaithanya, As per the act, One is eligible for Weekly Off only if he/she works for at least 4 days in a week. Thanks and regards, Praveen

my confusion is that if we do the same then working days and weekly offs for workers will differ from person to person as there would be five sunday or four saturday. is this would be a discrepancy before the eye of law ? as the working days for workers in a month will differ from person to person.
