Well as you have the similar experience and also if you think that it is a good opportunity from your career prospects, then I think you have to accept this..

Its good that you are pursuing Masters and best of luck for this but one thing I wanna know from you whether it is a regular course or correspondence bcz you said above that you are not working since last Fab and just bcz of your study..

Second what do you think which is the best for you..HR Generalist profile what you are looking for or Counseling in which you also have earn experience...which is your most interested field..just try to figure out what you want in actually...

What I think is that if you are not interested in this Counseling and wanna go to HR Generalist profile, then I wud say that you must do something for HR Generalist Profile, but for this you require many things.... but if you have interest and know that counseling is your interested area and a best option for you and your career, you can achieve your goals by this, you must continue with it...

Sometime people never realize what they actually want, what are their targets and their interested areas and took wrong path in this their life/career but the most important thing is that if one realize that where he/she wanna go is the way he/she like most, enjoy the work most and found successful …, do hard work Whole heartedly even do alot to reach his/her aim..

That’s what I think personally..

Anil Sir
Thank you so much for giving quick valuable inputs on my query.
Thing is that I do have experience of counselling that too of more than 2 years. But for sure I want to make my career in Generalist profile of HR I have already worked in one of the Manufacturing Industry and holding experience of 1 .5 yrs their I worked as HR assistant and looked after most of the Administration work but did not learn Payroll there which many organisations are asking when appearing for interviews.
Getting rejected in interviews so thought somehow I shall start earning once again hence confused but certainly counselling is not my area of interest :(
The course which am pursuing is dedicated course for HR and its a full time course conducted under Pune University.
Will wait for your further words on same.
Thanks & Regards,
Satya

Hmm Very Good the same I was thinking about you …well first thing is that you need to complete your study and then look for a job..but while study you also can learn many things that will enhance your skills and give you a strong knowledgeable background. You said above that you also have worked as a HR Executive and are interested in this too, then i wud say, you must look for this Generalist Profile ..

But one more thing here I would say as you said above that you just have worked on administrative and other work profile but haven't worked on Payroll which is a very important part of HR Personal profile, therefore, you need to learn and work a lot in this regard.

First you need to know what is HR Generalist profile for your understanding so that you can get an idea ,where to go and what to do to and from where to start to reach your goals and mission/vision of your life…

As our terms and condition, he is wants to give one month prior notice after that only we can provide the necessary documents. Hi Ramya, well this is depend on your company policy and also as you said that you understand his situation and found the genuine request, you can allow him to leave early.
Actually Employer uses these employment terms & conditions with a special purpose to control attrition or say to decrease Manpower cost. Therefore you can allow him but you just need to follow the F&F procedure according to your company policy and have to deduct some amount of “Short Notice Period” and let him go.

Dear Anil Sir,
Thank you so much once again to boost me with your great words. I ll surely keep the words in my mind and will behave and act accordingly.
And, Yes I ll keep posting and keep finding my answers not only from here but from all available sources.
Dear Remya
This is just a way am trying to put my words , please don take it as a suggestion or advice ; but this can be a way you can think over the situation.
There is always a provision in Company Policies for such solutions, in many companies employees leaves without serving their notice period and they get paid according to the policy. E.g. In service industries like Insurance Companies, Hotel Industries etc.
So the days they have worked and money for ESI and like wise is deducted , if am not wrong.
Hope u can find out the best solution from companies policy and also see wot ur company has already done in such situation this must not be the first situation.
Sorry if anything goes wrong in this.
Satya.

Hi,

We have around 25 employees working in our company. We have two departments.

One is software development and another one is web development. Team leader of software development is relieved from our company due to personal reason without prior notice period which is to be long term leave.

After getting last month salary , the Employees is intimate the relieving information through Phone call and we accept it and said to come for 1 week to share knowledge to your team people. The employee also said ok.

After that the employee didn’t give any intimation. We tried many times to reach his phone. But no response from his side. Here every one employee is doing multiple tasks in his work. Usually when one employee reliving from company means the people should complete the transfer the knowledge to other people. (I.e. handle the project details).so, now, we could not complete the project with in deadline without his support.

So, our management Team is decides to take legal action to an employee.

Is it correct action?
