HOW TO PROVIDE TRAINING SERVICES TO ORGANISATIONS

Dear Members,

Greetings of the day!!!

I wanted some advice and suggestions on “HOW TO PROVIDE TRAINING SERVICES TO ORGANISATIONS”. I want to start an organization that will be involved in providing training services to organizations in Goa & the surrounding areas.

I have completed my MBA (HR/Marketing) and have about 1 year experience in general admin & H.R. I am based in Goa.

During my MBA, I have always been interested in topics like Training & Development & Performance Management. That’s when I thought about starting a career in Corporate Training.

I plan to work with experienced trainers as Associate Partners. Initially, I also want to do research in training: Training Need Analysis as I want to have a better understanding of the market.

I understand that our forum has many experienced and resourceful people, and would be grateful if I could get some guidance on how I should go about the entire procedure……..

How to start?
Requirements
Where to start? How do I go about getting the first contract?
How to decide the training charges?.......................................... .....

Dear Dinesh,
I have started my career after commerce graduation and fortunately got an opportunity to work with HR People and then while doing job, I did PGDHRM from Symbiosis, ISTD and now working as Asstt Mgr- HR with Amkette (Computer product company).

I am interested to learn more on training and Development. At present I am doing a project on ISTD and it is helping to enhance my practical knowledge.

But I need Help on Following Topics and how to organise these training program in the organisation. How to decide faculty member within the org.

I am Sujatha. A Corporate Softskills Trainer.I am very happy to be reading your posting. I am a Freelance Trainer working from the New Entry level participants to the Mid-management and the Senior Executives.

I am Very, Very , Very( The repetition intended and also the Capitals!) serious about Training and the Impact of Training on Participants and their immediate surroundings official and their personal lives.....
I personally believe that programs have a certain pattern:
1. certain programs are general in their application. These are like the traffic rules of a Country set in their form and for the system to work efficiently everyone the Fresher and the Seasoned Senior must adhere to this frame work.
2. Some are need based and so need to be Customized for the Organization in context.
3. Some programs are there, that every Organization must encourage...

If you are interested I live in Chennai and am willing to travel anywhere, provided Stay and food are taken care of. I am very hurt by some experiences where people use Trainers to get business and than thwart the very Trainers....
Basically if someone out there is aware of the role & importance of Training and willing to believe in the policy of Grow & Let Grow...you can contact me.Soft skills Training, Education are some of my Passions. I am doing my certification in Behavioural Analysis.
Regarding the requirements, I feel it is basic that we run the participants through basic Assessment tool so as to understand their particular need.The Organization and participants may not know the importance but I guess it is the basic requirement for the programs that fall into the second Category. If not, it is like the Doctor giving medication without proper diagnosis.
