Hi
can anyone advise me on harassment (use of abusive words/impractical work allocation) at work place?
Suppose an employee is harassed by her seniors what steps can she take against them/him?
with regards

start keeping records of all conversations/ instances of where you encopuntered harassment... this will come in handy whether you want to lodge a case or not...

Dear kaushika,
(a) Train your managers on inter-ersonal skills. (b) You need to make policy on "Employee Grievances". Educate employees on how to use this policy. (c) Let there be impartial committe who investigates the grievances and takes appropriate action against the defaulting managers.
Once you do this grievances will come down and interpersonal relations in the company will improve.

Dear Kaushika....
never entertain others to lead you. have some distance over the people working there.. inform your top level persons..if they dont show intrest to erase that..Better go to some medias and tear the face of the institution..this can show them to the whole society..
