Dear Sir,
I joined XYZ company in March 2009 & signed bond for three years. It is mentioned that if I leave company before completing Three years, I have to pay some amount at LD to company. But not mentioned that if I complete three years what will I get? It means that it is one sided bond & favouring only employer.
At joining time, I signed two different letter i.e. Sevice Bond & Appointment Letter. In my appointment letter there is nothing mentioned about Service Bond. Now I want to leave this company & only 4.5 months is remaining in completing service bond period, but my company is asking for total amount as mentioned in bond.
Please help me to get rid of this issue.
Regards.

In India, Bonds are not legal, you have complete right to leave company at any time. Regards, Santosh

Dear Mr.Nilesh,
I agree with your point. The company should mention that if the company ask you to go what is the benefit they are going to give when it is not there it is to be one side bond and validity will be low but when you leave with out completing your term then they may send legal notices to you and as well as your new employer and any employer don't want any headachque hence better take the legal opinion and accordingly proceed.
Regards - kamesh
