Dear friends, I would like to have more details on Sodexho.
· How does this work for an employee?
· What benefits are there for the company?
· If we give these to employee, how does it effect CTC structure and hence what is the net impact on cost?
· How can we position this within the company from the point of people focus?
· Do these vouchers come with a validity i.e within this financial year only? If yes, what happens to the unused ones?
· How does Sodexho compare against other such similar products?
· Would these vouchers be distributed during salary, would staff have to apply for them or is there any other option?
regards
Mohamed

Hi,

Sodexho Passes are of two types, Meal Vouchers & Gift Vouchers.

The value for the meal vouchers is 1200/- and the gift voucher it is 400/-.

If you want to implement the sodexho scheme to the employees discuss this with you Sr.

Once your Sr. Give approval, pass a mail to all the employees regarding the passes. see the response . Explain them the benefits that it is a tax saving component , it works in most of the restaurants .... you can refer to the attachment given by Mansi it is the directory where these passes are used.

If the response is good then you can get in touch with the sodexho, can place your order . you can do it on monthly bases by giving a list of employees who have opt for it . and do the payment by cheque to the sodexho .

Regarding the FBT check whether the employer will pay of it or to be added in the CTC. If you are starting this scheme and the FBT is to be added int the CTC then you need to restructure your salary structure. You need to check on this fact also.

You can distribute separately in the first week on the month.

These vouchers are as per the calender year. If not used by the employee then you need to request the sodexho people to renew it , but they charge for the same.

The employee has to continue the vouchers once he/she opts for it. if she/he wants to discontinue it, cannot be done in the mid on the year. because you will have a problem in administrating it. Therefore you can have one undertaking form attached along with the appraisal form of the employee so that at the time of appraisal the employee can give in writing whether to continue or no.

I have cover all the points. I hope this will help you.

Thanks,
