As informed by Mr. KVJ Raghunath, it is not amendment.
These are proposals. The Concerned Ministry has called for opinions and views from the Industries, Experts. Based on the feedback, the Ministry will re-work out after going through all suggestions and finally they will carry out the corrections - then it will be Bills and it has to be passed in the Parliament.
Then only it should be called Amendment. these are proposals for amendment sought in the Factories Act.

I am managing the HR department in a pharma company. We have a manufactoring set up and the factory is registered under the factory act. Could anyone please help me in understanding the procedure of firing an employee in a factory set up?
Hi All

This is a proposal and refused by the parliament of India, please find the attached copy of refusal. hence, no any amendment in factory Act 1948 has in placed.
