How much to pay to buy out notice period? can i pay only the basic pay?
I am working in a college. as per the appointment order clause i must resign on end of semester and three months notice period to be given or pay the three months salary. my question is can i pay only the basic pay and academic grade pay and not other allowances? please suggest me urgent. as i am being harrased and need a relief. already am becoming ill. please help me
Notice pay not paid
Hi i resigned from my services on 24/2 thereby mentioning that i am ready to serve full 45 days notice period. on the same day the company processed my full n final settlement but did not pay me notice pay. i resisted for this but they said if i did not accept fullnfinal without notice pay they may not even pay my other salary components. under forced circumstances i have no other option but to accept it. i wanted to know if i can get my notice pay recovery from them as it is clearly mentioned in my offer letter.
Does notice pay deduction should be equal to basic pay or gross pay?
Hi everyone need help in this case the company i work equalize notice period pay with basic pay which means if someone does not has to serve the notice period then he/she has to pay the amount in lieu of notice period which will be equal to basic pay component of salary breakup and vice versa. is this fixed that it should be equal to basic pay or it varies from company to company? as i have seen some organizations deducting the amount on their gross salary or net salary/take home. what exactly constitutes the basic pay the basic pay component of salary breakup or net pay gross considers as basic pay of an employee? it will be really helpful if someone can provide useful insights on this. thanks :
Salary break up.
Hello. need help regarding salary break up. the package is 6.5 lac per annum of which 2.6 lac is basic pay and 3.9 is choice pay. what is choice pay? and how do we get to ask for choice pay with tax benefits. in the previous company the gross was 40900 and the net pay tome was 29415. rs.6000 was deducted as tax. kindly advise how to design the choice pay. thanks uma.
Can gross pay be fixed as basic pay
Dear all employers fix gross pay as basic pay. there is no bifurcation of gross pay. don t want to bifurcate basic conveyance etc. so now a days due to these reason employers are having alternative but employees suffer and the same is accepted by the statutory authority.is it justified mk verma
