Re: SAP training institutes
Hello Manika,

I have planned to do the SAP-HR course by end of this year.

The fact is you have to have a good profile before doing the course, you should be aware of if not through with HR.

And if you are a fresher, you need patience, as you will get the opportunity but it takes time. As i sade there are many institute which offer the course but see to it that the institute is good, recognized, if you have any doubt then you can visit www.sap.com and find out the training institute in your locality, as i am not really aware about your city.

Do lot of reading as you can.

I am searching for some documents, as i get it i will upload it here and you can get it.

Among the three institute, i will give you the feedback that i have got from my friends,

Note:- All these three institute are best

Genovate:- provide placement if they have an requirement.

Siemens:- No placement, only takes 2% of the top students in their organization

Reliance:- No idea about it.

Be careful means select a proper institute before you join any course.
Any ways, i am busy now, will send you the details later.....

IF you have any query, let me know...

Thank You,

Warm Regards,
Satya

Re: SAP training institutes
Dear Monika,

You may please check with CDAC's site. They have full time & residential as well as non residential course. They charge some around 40,000/- as course fees. As per my knowledge they are the 2nd best ( after Simense) in India. But they also do not have gurantee for placement, but have seen people getting job thru' them. Their main draw back is PMS is not included in the entire HR curriculam, i hv spoken to them and requested about the insertion but not sure if they will be able to do so.
Their HoD is Mr. Bhattacharya at Noida center responsible for entire ERP training in Delhi& NCR.

Hena

Re: SAP training institutes
Hey manika,

I foudn a post about SAP, just pasted for your reference.
Please Check

Hi Kavitha,

Basically there are two types of jobs associated with SAP in any organisation. One is implementation part and the other one is support function. Implementation means you have to develop the program for the organisation whereas support means it is already implemented and u have to just work on it. Implementation is a vast job and basically companies look for experienced people. As already been told Siemens is the certified trainer for same but it is very expensive(approx. Rs 3 L). Now it depends upon u how much do u want to spend. Siemens train you first and then let you work on implementation-projects under their guidance so that u get implementation experience. Apart from that u can do a one year course fron C-DAC (Noida). Though it's not certified as the certification lies only with Siemens. its a govt. institute and the course fee is also approx Rs 60,000/- which make it a good bargain as it also gives u live-experiences. Many companies take people from this institute becoz the faculties are themselves top honchos of SAP companies. It's over all a good deal.

Apart from this there are many pvt institutes offering SAP course at a cost of Rs 25000/- to 30,000/- These institutes are good for working people as they are having flexi-timings & if u are having good domain experience then it helps u a lot. I am a HR professional with a exp. of 3.5 yrs and since I can't afford to leave my job I am doing the course from such an institute in the evening hours & on Sundays. For Siemens or C-DAC, U need to devote full time.

SAP is very much in demand. Be it implementation or support function. You can go for the same without hesitation. Wat ultimately matters is ur knowledge part. It will help u in future.

Oracle & Peoplesoft are also ERP solutions and are in demand but not as much as SAP.

Hope U got ur queries solved. U can ask me if u are having any more on my id amit_s111yahoo.co.in

Regards

Amit Singh

Warm Regards,
Satya
