Most of them are bullshits.

I Believe that, what you feel comfortable you should wear.
It really doesn't mean you wear clothes you wear for marriage or while going for a movie/picnic.

The basic idea is, wear what you are comfortable in and ofcourse suits your personality. After all you have to deliver what you know to take up the job and your body shall support to complete your interview in all means.

All the best,

Uddhav.

MY DEAR UDHAV,
ONE DOES NOT GET A SECOND CHANCE TO CREATE FIRST IMPRESSION. DRESS IS ONE OF THE FACTORS TO IMPRESS. PROPER DRESS CAUSES VISUAL IMPRESSION. WHAT EVER MAY BE THE PLACE. WHEN YOU NEED SANITARY PAPER AND YOU ARE GIVEN SAND PAPER ONE CAN IMAGINE THE IMPACT. KINDLY USE WORDS AFTER EXERCISING DUE DILIGENCE. TO ME YOU WERE NOT IN PROPER SHAPE WHEN YOU WROTE "BULLSHIT".OTHERWISE I PRESUME YOU KNOW ALL WHAT I HAVE SAID ABOVE.
REGARDS,

Hi Peers,

I appreciate your valuable views about the dress code and its very much important for one to maintain especially at the time of attending interviews because its "first impression is the best impression".

I suggest guys to have clean shave, plain shirt or stripes (thin) preferred plain, and formal shoes.

For beauties (girls) I suggest you to wear a dress which makes you feel comfortable (Saree ,Salwar,Jeans/........)what ever it is wear it but it should not be uncomfortable to both sides. If possible try to avoid a Tight dresses where you concentrate more on adjusting your dress rather than interview.

One common thing for both genders" COLOR" it plays a vital role in giving look to the person so a person who is dark should opt for light and plain colors and fair any thing ok but avoid prints and heavy work kind of dresses

So when u attend the interview feel free from your MIND and LOOK .

All the best

Hi All,

You express confidence THE WAY YOU DRESS! More comfortable the dress is more confident the look and Attitude is. And in no way you should try a new clothing for an interview, put on something that you can carry easily in a smart way! If you are comfortable in Western then let it be Trousers and a formal shirt or a T-shirt with collars, if you wear Ethnic then wear a saree, better if its plain with a thin border but well pleated and pin-up or go for a suit, being cotton isn't mandatory but it should not be creased, wear light lip-stick n a mild fragrance, no gaudy clothes or make-up!

Hi Prathiba,

Its very simple the only thing you have to remember first is what kind of dress you feel very comfortable then think rest later.I don't suggest Saree,blazer,jeans/formal kind of dress to wear for interview as I said earlier is your comfort level.

1.Normally girls like to wear trendy, heavy work dresses. So please avoid it
2.Avoid heavy makeup and extra look
3.Wear dress that fits you perfect & Confident
4.Avoid Tight out fits and dazzling colors with heavy prints.
5.Color plays a Vital role in defining the personality of a person and also reflects ur mood, behavior, etc.,,
6.Try to wear Maximum cool colors and comfort dresses where u will not be busy adjusting your dress here and there which makes u feel uncomfortable and loose concentration in adjusting your dress
7.Use perfumes or Dees which are pleasant & mild, avoid Heavy perfumes totally except when required.
8.Be cool and keep smiling all the day don't get exhausted.
9.If ua think the process will take long time then try to have some snacks,coffee.... to avoid gastric related problems.
10.Don't feel if uri not selected for any reasons.
11.Think failures are step for success, but don't keep it in practice, try to learn from mistakes & avoid it in next.

I don't know how relevant it is to you, but most of the girls will criticize.
If it is helpful I feel that it served some purpose, if not sorry for wasting all your precious time.

All the best.

HI EVERYONE

In my opinion it doesn't matter what you are wearing in interview , yes we see in interview the dress sense also , but in my view the dress should be wearable and candidate should be comfortable in dress which he/she is wearing in south saree can be more comfortable where as in north india salwar kameez and other dress is mostly weared in interviews , it depends also on which job interview you are going suppose you are going for interview where the dress which will give more benefits , you will wear only that so conclussion of all long discussion is dress properly and according to interview
