Hi Brindha,
You cannot claim the amount from ESI which you spent in private hospitals, it can be claimed only if you have taken the medication from ESI dispensaries. but if you have any Mediclaim policy which include the all diseases, can be claim the same from your service providers (TTK, Allen Kit,etc...)...

Dear ,
If no ESI dispensary is available in nearby location from your dwelling location or if the treatment is not available in ESI hospital or any charges spent in case of medical emergency are elingle to get reimbursed from the ESI.
Only point is that you have to oprove ESIC that it was mandatory to take such treatment in Private Hospital.
Note :- Hereby I want to request the " Ignorant Members" that " If you are not sure about The Law then not to give wrong personal jugement or assumption on this public forum ".

Dear Prashant B Ingawale,
Extremely sorry for the reply given by me as above... But I request such veteran members to answer such questions at on time ... many cases the members are commenting that ""no reply even many views.."" that is the reason why we share the lacking information as of our knowledge... thanks for your info... In future such mistakes will be avoided ...
thanks
