Dear Ms. Pooja,
Thanks for you reply. Well, i know it depends on state to state.
As you said we need to multiply the rate and No. of employees. What about for that 6 months concept?
As our Delhi Labour welfare rate for employee is .75 paisa for every 6 month & for employer it is 2.25 paisa for every 6 months.
I just wanted to know how to go about it?
What does 6 months stand for ?

Dear Mr. Rohit Singh,
Rs. 0.75 paisa x Number of employee as on 30th June of every year as per the register of establishment (Employee Share)
Rs. 2.25 paise X Number of employee as on 30th June of every year as per the register of establishment (Employer share)
To be deposited by 15th July of every year.
Rs. 0.75 paisa x Number of employee as on 31st December of every year as per the register of establishment (Employee Share)
Rs. 2.25 paise X Number of employee as on 31st December of every year as per the register of establishment (Employer share)
To be deposited by 15th of January every year.

Dear Mr. Lakra
'Number of employee as on 30th June of every year' ?
It means total no. of employee from Jan to June would be taken if we are calculating for 6 months. As you might have known that we need to calculate half yearly welfare fund.
Than the the total no. of employee would be addition of , eg. 201 + 203+ 200 +198+ 197+ 206 (Jan to June). Is that so?
Do we need to calculate monthly fund or as on 30th June (if we are submitting half yearly fund) ?
Can you please give me an example of calculation of welfare fund if we are having the above said no. of employees (Staff Category)?
Awaiting for your reply

Dear Mr. Rohit,
I understand 'Number of employee as on 30th June of every year' means the number employees on roll as on 30th June = Say 206 . So Rs. 0.75 paise x 206 employees = Rs. 155.00
Returns to be submitted in FORM 'A' [See Rule 3(4)]

Dear Mr. Lakra,
Thanks for your valuable reply.
So, the employee contribution would be Rs. 155.00 (if we are having 206 employees under staff category as on 30th June) and employer contribution would be 463.50 (2.25 * 206).
??
There is no need to calculate month wise fund ?
For Eg. (Employee cont.)
Jan. - 206*.75
Feb. - 202*.75
Mar. - 198*.75
Apr. - 208*.75 (As no. of employee under staff category will vary monthly)
May - 212*.75
Jun. - 207*.75
TOTAL = 924.75
Is 924.75 would be the employee contribution or as on June i.e. 207*.75 = 155.25?
Please discuss.
I am awaiting for your reply.
