can you please explain within 24 hours why disciplinary actions should not be taken against you for resuming your duty post late on Wednesday 27th July, 2011 ?

Disciplinary actions should not be taken against me for resuming my duty post late on Wednesday, 27th July, 2011 Because there was rain fall in my area on early morning which makes all the ways flooded. And i am sent a message to my superior on the matter.

However, any inconveniences that my lateness might caused the organization is highly regretted.
