Hi Guys
This is regarding some recruitment company where I worked for 7 months and they have stopped my 2 months salary
I went for 10 days after getting the verbal permission from them surprisingly one day I got a call from the manager that management does not want me to take because I could meet my assigned targets
Please suggest what to do as they are not paying me the 2 months salary

Answer my question, so that i can suggest a solution.
Is Your termination is made from employer side?
Have you achieved your target for all the 7months?
Is there any term mentioned in your offer or appointment letter that, If u fail to reach the target then your salary will be on hold?
Do you have any bad terms with your employer?

Yes my termination is been made by my employer only
No could not achieve my targets for all 7 months infact none of the employee achieved
No in my appointment letter such clause is not mentioned
No I was not having any bad terms with the director it was my team leader who created a bad image of mine during my absense

Have you spoken to your Hr.............
First you explain your Hr regarding your salary payment. If she hesitate to give you the salary, then ask for the reason.
Finally try to speak to your director and explain your situation and ask for the reason. If no one cooperate with you then inform them, like i will take legal actions.

this is a recruitment company having a team of 5 staff Director is taking care of all Salary issues
I called the director only she said that till she herself is not confirmed about the date when she will release my salary
I am writting a mail to her but she is not replying

Then you tell them that i ll take legal action. First u try softly then consult a good lawyer. Always be polite for first time then show them your strong as they.

Its unfortunate to hear what happened with you. However, please share a little more about the exit process in the firm. How did you resign and what was the discussion that you had with your reporting manager at that point of time?

Hello Tanya Negi,

You mentioned that the Appointment Letter DOESN'T mention about any link between performance & not paying your salary.

Maybe Bharathi used the wrong/deviating words. Pl recheck your Letter. Usually, any Appointment Letter has terms related to Performance--not necessarily mentioning the situation you are in right now--'verbatim'. Suggest checkout once again. Usually, whatever is mentioned [including the wording], invariably such clauses end with: '.......at the discretion of the Company/management....... ' or something similar to this effect.

You mentioned that the Termination was made by the Employer--you didn't mention the WRITTEN reasons given by the company while doing so. What are they? Are they the same what you mentioned they gave verbally--"could not meet my assigned targets"?

You also mentioned in response to Bharathi's query that "......in fact none of the employee achieved" w.r.t. the Targets. Pl confirm how many employees were terminated--including or excluding you? And what is the 'number' of employees you are referring to?

Management issued me a salary cheque for the month of may but there was some error in the date instead of year 2011 it was written 2001 I called my director and requested her to correct it but she instructed me to submit it to my reporting manager and whenever she will be coming to office will correct the same and will submitt it to my bank account,In between due to some unavoidable reason I had to go for 13 days leavefor which
requested the management for the same and my reporting manager asked me to write a mail to the management I did the same and got verbal acceptance but after going for leave when I called on 4th day to my director to know the status about the cheque she denied for the same and said that since I could't complete the assigned target she is not going to pay me a single peny and the management has decided me not to join back
Please advise what to do as they are not picking my call as well as not replying the mails
