Hi, It depands upon the company. You can accumulate to 60 days maximum. More than 60 days will get elapsed. The company have to pay for the 60 days while you leave Arvindarjun

Dear Seniors,
Please help me in below matter.
one of our employee wants to encash his PL while working in service, what should I have to do ? - Please go through your service rules / Standing Orders / HR Manual if it permits please encash the same.
Can we encash his Leave ? Beacuse I am doing encahement only of anyone leaving his job,at the time of full and final settlement we are doing his PL encahment.
But now situation is diffrerent, the employee is still working with us. and he wantS to encash his leaves. - As you are covered under Factory Act then maximum PL accumlated is 30 only beyond that you can encash PL in any month of calendar year
Please revert me back with your valauble feedback.

Dear Vaishali,Vrusha,
This is not a big question as if company has no policy in this regard u can opt this by today only. As stated by Prashant Ingawale as per factory act the accumulation limit is 30 and u can encash above accumulated leaves.
Normally encashment of accumulated leaves have been released in the month of December at last spell or Beginning of January.
It is good practice for the company point of view as the encashment of leave based on last salary drawn. if the same is accumulated by many years u have to pay that on last salary which may be much higher. hence it is beneficial if encashment of leave has been made every year.
