Talent identification and management
Talent identification and management consists of the ways by which an organization attracts recruits retains identifies and develops talent. there are four steps in this process: 1.assessing talent pool needs: during this step the capabilities of current members of the organization has to be assessed and the future and current capabilities needed is gauged. the gap between the two if any is the new talent that is required. 2.spot talent: individuals with leadership and/or management potential have to be identified as well as subject matter experts smes and key knowledge holders. 3.develop talent: plans for developing talent within the organization either existing or acquired must be established in order to prepare for future needs. as well opportunities for job rotation should be identified in order to expose talent to new experiences. 4.retain talent: once a talent base has been created it needs to be retained. in order to do so recognition plans and reward schemes can be put into place. regards raj
Outsourcing hr management for a small it company?
Hello all larger companies can afford hr managers/teams but we are a small it services firm 15 people that seems to be "always recruiting" with the help of recruiters and ... naukri.com.. of course with this comes "always managing" talent pool interviews scanning resumes handling potential candidates offer letters appointment letters policies reviews etc. my question what do small companies do to manage this? i see that there are lots of hr personnel here that are building the hr dept for small companies.. but do small companies work with experienced part time hr managers? can they afford such a thing? since we are small office space is limited to development staff only i d imagine other smaller companies in navi mumbai are similar.. how do these tiny companies with a mission handle such issues? any insights would help. thanks ron
Current employer fishing fake jobs at recruiters in my field
Hi everyone i m zach. happy monday i just joined this forum to ask this question of anyone who works as a recruiter or in hr or has had the same experience i believe is happening to me now. here is my question: do employers place fake jobs with recruiters in their industry to find out if their employees are actively looking for a new job? i work in a relatively small work pool and am also looking for a new job for a myriad of reasons and i just wanted to ask about anyone elses experience with this. thanks for your time zach.
