If any employee have 0 working day and 0 wages what will be the reason code to file the monthly contribution sheet.

There are several reasons for 0 working & 0 wages,such as- left service,no work,leave,expired,went out of coverage,does not belong to your roll,strike etc.All the contingencies are described on the ESI application portal with their specific reason code under the head "file monthly contributions." As such log on to the site www.esic.in using ur id and password and find the required cone or give the reason to inform the correct code for 0 attendanse and 0 wages.

our employee againt joined in July 2011 but he was on leave whole month of June 2011. Pls. advise what flag we have to use for Monthly Contribution of June 2011.

Dear Sir,
There may be 2 situations in this case,1-you have paid leave wages for the period 2-he was without wages.In case 1,you have to enter the leave days & leave wages, but in 2 both days & wages will be 0 and code for leave-2.
