Hi Saranya,

See HR has a vital role and lots of responsibilities to perform towards the attainment of Organizational Goal and Objectives and the every personnel from HR department has his/her different role to perform in this regards.

You said you are a recruiter with 4 years of experience but still are not satisfied with it and its obvious. I would suggest you to enhance your skills by learning more and more about HR and their function and not just stick to the Recruitment profile.

Now its upto you what you want to achieve and where you wanna go.

I appreciate that you wanna know more and learn about statutory compliance, ESI, PF, Employee engagement activities.

Now you need to prepare yourself for the HR Generalist profile and all the work of HR and “MY 7 STARS of HR” comes under this HR Generalist. (For this you need to go to https://www.citehr.com/285974-career...ml#post1290276 )

This is the best place to learn about all these and to know more and more about HR and their functions but the thing is that you have to learn at yourself and need to grab the things around you. We member, at this place help you out to learn about them and on whatever you want/need.

Hi Anil,
Thank you so much for the information shared and its my pleasure to get in touch with you here.
I would like to mention that with 4 yrs of exp as a recruiter learnt more in recruitment and my only concern is since am working in consulting firm am not exposed to HRM functions apart from recruitment.
And i went through your posts on 7 stars OF HR which addressed very clearly about the functions of HUMAN RESOURCE and its very helpful.
HR's are the most important assets in each and every organization. I wanted to go through all of these HR functions in my career.
Anil,It would be great if you would like to share the formulas and implementation process for these functions like statutory compliance,ESI,PF,payroll, performance appraisal.
Please correct me if there is any changes or mistakes.
Thanks
Saranya

Hi Saranya, Im glad that you liked my “7 Stars of HR” and interested in knowing and working on them. But to know about them and for implementation, you need to do your work at your own but I can just give you the direction only.

I understand your situation, your concern and what you are feeling about your present situation and career. Dear if you really wanna know more about HR and their function, you need to spend your as much as time on CiteHR and with other HR professional site to get knowledge about HRM..

For statutory compliance , you can go with https://www.citehr.com/93257-what-st...ompliance.html where you will find the complete details, need and procedure for the same.

If you wanna know PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL, you can get the details and procedure by using SEARCH and also I would suggest you to go to my old post where I have discussed on the same topic several time with the member of CiteHR

If you wanna know more about ESIC & EPF, I would suggest you to visit their official website first to get the rules & regulations, form what we used in this regards such as, Register of Employee and Employer, Claim and Application form, Challans form and Returns ESI Corporation, Chennai <link updated to site home> ( Search On Cite | Search On Google ) . But for sample sheet and calculation and example of working, you can get from this place by using this link <link outdated-removed> . By these links you can download the material posted by the member here for your practical understanding.

But the most important thing is that these all worthless until you’ll put your inputs.

Best of Luck

Hi it depends on you how you take this,, whether you wanna learn from them or try to do it yourself or seeking something to come into knowledge and follow the same..its depends my dear..
For example: if you wanna learn about Compensation, you must have knowledge what is all about until then you cant perform on anything related to Compensation and wud find yourself in lots of Confusion and with numbers of Qs..
Well if you have more question or thinks that i can help you ..feel free to contact.
Well what do you mean by "cudnt get it completely with the usage"
