Hi All,
I have completed 4 years and 6 months in my current organization and have now resigned.. Some seniors mentioned to me that a person with 4years 6months of experience is eligible for gratuity.
I just wanted to check if that is correct because my company refused to pay me the same since I have not finished 5 years.
Please help
Best Regards,
Shalom

Dear Shalombaria, To be eligible for Gratuity, you need to complete full 5 years. However, once you are eligible, 6 months or above is treated as one full year. With regards Sudhakaran

Dear Shalo
Since you were not complected 5 years or 4 years and 240 days fully you are not eligible for getting gratuity. treating 6 months as full one year will not applicable for your case.

Thanks Mr. Alphonse, However I read in a similar case like mine, I’ve got to know that the court has approved to pay off the Gratuity... Thanks for the input. Regards, Shalom
