Dear All,

One of my HR friends at Mysore asked me to share the presentation I made a few months back at an UGC refresher course for teaching staff of Universities on Concept of IR and HR Approach to IR jointly organized by NIPM-Mysore Chapter and Pooja Bhagavat Memorial Mahajan Post Graduate Center. I had shared the presentation with the participants and someone has a chance to see it and asked me to share. I thought I can share the same with all our group members also and I am attaching the presentation.

My presentation was of three hour duration including a discussion followed by a film clipping. Since it was to address teaching staff of postgraduate centers, the presentation contains academic orientation while my delivery was of practical inputs. Because of thios I had to add more content of academic in nature since I intended to share with them instead of giving a separate reading material.

I hope you would like it and I welcome suggestion so that I can improve upon my presentations in future.

Regards,

Surendranath. A

Dear Mr. Surendranath. A,

It was really an informative presentation but I feel that presentation should be of 5 to 10 slides only. It should have scope to explain. If we provide everything in presentation then there is no need of explanation. In short there is no requirement of presenter.

Opinion may differ from person to person.

The new joinee has to be taken personally to the people to introduce him. Normally, no photograph is attached with the circular. Since it is possible now to scan the photo and make copies easily. it may be given along with the circular. We may have to break the conventional methods and be creative to achieve the purpose.

Dear Mr Yogesh Kulkarni,
Thanks for your feedback. You are absolutely right that complete information need not be given. I had mentioned in my cover note that this was meant to be distributed without a seaprate reading material being given. Based on this theoretical presentation the delivery was on practical aspects with a number of examples which I ha also mentioned.
Regards,
Surendranath
