Dear Sir,

I have similar case. I have worked in an organisation for 2 years. In that organisation they are having 2 years bonds for the freshers. So you can not resign in between those tow years. I wanted to leave as soon as my bond was over for some personal reasons. So I informed my PM and HR in email that I will be leaving at the end of my bond period around one and half months back. But my PM did provided me resource for KT. at end of my bond period I resigned with only 3 days notice. At that time my PM asked me to serve 8 weeks of notice period. I was enable to do so. I left the organisation and HR marked me absconding. After around one month I contacted again my organisation and requested them to give me my relieving letter and experience letter. My PM sent my case to legal dept of the company. Legal dept of the company did my Full and final settlement and gave me relieving letter and experience certificates. I also got my PF and form 16. I thought that was over. After that I worked in another organisation for 3 years nothing came out in my background check. I did my MBA too for 2 years. After my MBA when I joined new organisation after 5 years of leaving my first company. In my background verification I was informed that my status was mentioned as absconding in my previous organisation.

My new organisation is reluctant in giving me joining. Please let me know what is possible way for to me join the new company. Will I be able to work in future with other companies?? Is it ok for my previous organisation to mentioned me absconding??

Hi,
You can join the new company provided you get the relieving letter and the related records in your past company corrected. You can request the HR elaborating on what had happened when you had left 5 years ago. They would then check with your Project Manager and then update the records accordingly. Also press your request with the PM under whom you had worked while leaving the company. They can recommend the correction to the HR.
If this is not happening, please talk to the HR of your current company and elaborate them on how the ABSCONDING remark had come and ask them if they can discount those days shown as absconding and reduce the period from your experience.
Hope one of these helps. You need to request them as if you are doing it for dear life. Surely they would consider.
Regards

Thank you for reply sir.
I tried to convince my current company. They agreed to give me joining but they will keep your background check report red. This will be quick option as my case will be closed. Another option they told me that I will give them the DD no which I sent to my previous organisation for full and final settlement. Then they will check with their vendor to reverified it again. They will give me joining and keep my case as in progress status. There is chance that my report will come as green. I am confused in these choices is there something I need to know in this.
They also told me that in the previous company HR told that they issue service certificate to all even to absconding people but he refused them to verify my service certificate.
Please reply ASAP. Thank you.

Thank you Sir for your earlier reply.....
I have taken option 2. I have sent HR my DD number....I am waiting from my HR about the reply.
But I have another issue. Now I am assigned to project. It is a some banking customer. As per the client policy they also ask for BV check. They also asked for all the document which I have earlier submitted with to my HR. I spoke to my Manager about my BV check problem with HR. I have told him how for not serving notice period I was marked absconding in my first company. But I have all the final settlement documents. He told that let them conduct the BV. If something came we can talk about it.
I want to know is the client BV verification are more serious then company HR verification. What can I do. or What can happen? can I loose my job as well in this case...
Please provide some guidance..I am very tense. After persuading my company HR for so long I finally got clearance now again the BV check ghost cam back.
