Hi all,
I'm working in a private firm of employee strength 60. I had applied for a personal loan based on my salary in one of the bank, where we are not holding a salary account. Due to higher interest rates i didnt apply for loan in a bank where i have a salary account.
Though i was meeting all the criterias, loan was rejected saying that our company is not in their list.
Can anyone tell me what is that list? What are criterias for a company to get registed in the list which they mentioned?
Thanks in anticipation

Dear Shilpa, It depends from bank to bank and the bank personnel could have clarified you of your these queries quite well. Do get back to them and ask them. Regards MK

Dear Ms Gowda, Every bank has pre approved list (within categories) under RMS (risk management services)often can be seen at their portals, but this is not the sole criteria for disbursing or declining your candidature. Of course it is one of the parameter to support your loan application specially in unsecured loans(Personal loan). There are other factor as well which includes your credit history(in form of Dedup and CIBIL); Your terms of employments, designation, company; Your repayment capacity as per their EMI Index calculator after deducting the ongoing ones, physical verification report and societal status(FI), family history(any criminal, legal/lawyer or police background also apprehend banks to disburse loans), reason for need of money/personal interview with the credit manager can be the reasons.

if every thing is right then also if bank declines then just assume that they have achieved their credit spending targets of the month and try next bank running short of business.

Above all customer has a right to ask for the reason of declining his/her loan application else an appeal/ case can be filed at banking lokpal.
