Dear Swapna

For any direct Phd (without M.Phil) entrance examination is compulsory. The PhD program can be done on Full Time or Part Time basis. Again, in part time there is an internal and external category. If you are currently working in the pune university affiliated colleges , then you can take Part-Time (Internal) admission. If you are working in other govt/private/semi-private organisations, you can take only Part-Time (External).

For details on the guide, seats availability and the admission check the links below..

Department wise List of vacant seats for Ph.D.  : The University of Pune offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs in sciences, languages, social sciences, law, management and other interdisciplinary programs.

NOTE: IT IS ALWAYS BEST TO GO IN PERSON AND ENQUIRE ABOUT THE ADMISSION PROCEDURE AND PERSONALLY GET THE CONSENT FROM THE GUIDE.

Have you even checked from your own Pune University ? Or you are taking the easiest way out - put in on the net, expect someone to do the dirty job and feed you with perfect info. What a lazy attitude.

First see to the NEWS papers, Registrar of any university can call for Phd. programme, at that point of time. Apply for the PHD programme by looking at the seats available in the field of Management. After this you need to write the entrance exam which contains; some questions on Research Methodology, Teaching Aptitude & HR related questions. Only if you are holding merit in entrance exam you will get the seat to do Phd. under any of the guide. This is because the lack of research guides in those universities and limited seats.
For any further information, you can mail me. Am working as an research scholar.
