Thank you Hussain Zulfikar and M.Sayeed for your valuable comments.
I fully agree with both of you.
Myself ,being a technocrat in the field of electronics for over four decades, I tried to correct the situation with few friends of my age,but could not make any tangible results. But who were at higher levels, have changed a lot,as they have no alternatives.
More than the EGO,it is their 'Mind Set' have kept them isolated.
In short I can say "they did not have the WILL to learn/relearn/unlearn.
Though most are well learned but still seems to be 'illiterate.'
This is the problem.
Thanking both of you again for the interest shown to my post.

Dear AVS,
Exactly,we need to be open and acceptable to new challenges and opportunities that comes our way and CHANGE is the way of life..it is the need of life and it is the spice of life....
One who changes and is flexible in one's approach is the one who acheives success...
Certainly, change is important then it may be a minor or major one....Change only brings newness to one'slife we just need to tune our mindset like that...

There is yet another definition of an illiterate of 21 Century
According to Alvin Toffler an illiterate person in 21 century is the one who does not have the ability of unlearning the old and relearn the new
