How to become Voice and Accent Trainer

Can anybody tell how to become Voice and Accent trainer. What are the qualifications required for this.

Anybody give training to become Voice and Accent trainer.

with the proliferation of BPOs, Skillsets of various sorts have taken a beating.

Voice and accent training is not simply a aping of western style of speech deliverance.

it can be best taught by a speech therapist (who teaches challenged people to vocalise better) but in the last seven years and contacts with various BPOs, i found only one place employing such a person. it was Hero Mindmine in 2001. i dont know their status now.

for being the voice and accent trainer your first requirement should be you should have good communication skills .
there are two ways you can plan for being trainer
1.You can get training from nearest training institute in voice and accent
2. there are lots of voice and accent softwares and cds are available in the market which you can use it while sitting in the home .
3. by just going through the foreign channels and coping them in there slang part, and by self practice

Becoming a Voice trainer is not a walk in the park as many believe. It takes perfecting not only your own accent but tuning your ears to catch errors in another individuals accent thereby being able to train them. Merely speaking in a western accent will not make you a trainer, it may help you with a job in the media.
