Hello Everyone,
My company is going for ISO Certification and the responsibility is on me.
I went to various threads and have a checklist for conducting internal audit.
Thanks to all of you for the material sharing.
But still some things are not clear: Please throw some light on these aspects:
1. Cost for obtaining ISO 9001:2008
2. Where to apply?
3. Time Duration for having it.
Also it would be great if some one who has implemented ISO Certification guides me to go about it. The Loop holes, the requirements etc. shared.
Thanks waiting for reply...

Hi Eshanse,
We have got the certificate though a consultant. It is always better to get these kind of things done through a consultant. We just need to follow them. They will take care of everything.
You need not to invest much on this. Consultant fee would be arround 5K and the auditor would be 11K approx.
and we get it in a week days.
If you want I can help you get him in contact with you.
Sandhya.

Thanks Sandhya for a Quick Reply,
Are there additional cost incurred other than Consultant Fee and Auditor Fee, like Fee to certifying body and recurring costs?
Do we need to send the application for ISO Certification to BIS?
Will the consultant will help in documentation part?
And also refer a Good and Cheap Consultant.

You need not to bother about all these.. there wont be any further cost other than consultant and auditor. Everything will be taken taken by consultant only including major documentation part.
You need to furnish them the company details and there will be a minimum documentary work from your end.
This was my personal experience when I joined my company and this was my first project.
Before that I need few details:
1- Your company location.
2- Your company work profile
3- Company name and contact details
